Patterned surfaces with the controllable drug doses using inkjet printing

A mixture of microflora, including Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Candida albicans, is found in burns traumatic wounds. In this study, piezoelectric inkjet printing was used to apply an antifungal agent, amphotericin B, antibacterial azithromycin, the surfaces gauze, silicon, aluminum. The vitro disk diffusion assay performed on unmodified, dimethyl sulfoxide vehicle-modified, azithromycin-modified, B-modified surfaces. Unlike unmodified vehicle-modified surfaces, showed activity against C. albicans; azithromycin-modified aureus P. aeruginosa. surface did not show S. or albicans. results indicate that may be useful for loading gauze with both pharmacologic agents poor solubility aqueous solutions treatment mixed Disk from printing-modified as determined using aureus.
